Nafferton Handbell Ringing Rally
The Handbell Ringers of Nafferton would like to invite you to our East Yorkshire Handbell Ringing Rally at the
Methodist Chapel, 10 High Street, Nafferton, YO25 4JS on Saturday 11 April 2026.
You will meet teams from across the East Riding of Yorkshire in one of the
most beautiful and friendly villages of the Yorkshire Wolds.
This is not a competition but a coming together of like minds with a shared passion for handbell
ringing to enjoy a wide range of music, played by us all.
Teams will have the opportunity to perform pieces of their choice. Please, as always, make sure that you are aware of copyright issues
(if you are unsure, look at the HRGB Guidance section on the HRGB Website).
There will be no ‘massed ringing’ or raffle at this event.
The venue is large and has recently been refurbished, so there is plenty of space for everyone.
When you arrive space will be allocated for you with your team’s name on it.
Please indicate on the Application Form your table requirements.
There is a lift inside the front door of the chapel for wheelchair access,
and so you don’t have to carry equipment upstairs. We have a small car park at the rear of the chapel.
All other parking is on the street.
Location
Nafferton is just off the A614, the road between Driffield and Bridlington.
The village is signposted from the roundabout.
Food
Refreshments will be served during the day and will include bacon sandwiches, teas, coffees and other delights.
Lunches will not be provided at this event.
There is a Fish-n-chip shop within walking distance. Opposite that is the village general store and post office.
There is a petrol station and SPAR mini-market at the top of the village. The village also has three pubs.
